Her favorite food is injera. She loves to watch movies and play with her friends. After finishing school, she would like to become a nurse.
Tigist and her family are now living in Addis Ababa because they were displaced from their home due to the ongoing war in northern Ethiopia. She is currently living with her mom and her two older sisters. Tigist and her family lost her dad due to the war.
Tigist is seeking sponsorship due to poverty. Her mom is not working since moving to Addis Ababa, and has no income to support her family or pay for Tigist’s school fees. Sponsorship will help provide her basic needs such as food, medical supplies, and clothing, as well as pay her school fees.
