Heywet is thirteen years old and lives in Chencha, a mountaintop city located in the southern part of Ethiopia.
 
Heywet attends her local school and is currently in 5th grade. She enjoys learning, spending time with her friends, and loves playing soccer.
 
Heywet is seeking sponsorship due to extreme poverty. She lives with her mother, two sisters, and one brother. As a single mother, her mom is struggling to provide for the family’s basic needs and school expenses. Sponsorship will help continue providing Heywet with education, daily necessities, and the opportunity to grow academically and spiritually.
 
Prayer Request: Please pray that Heywet will do well in school and for her to continue to seek Jesus. Pray also for her mother’s endurance as she continues to face deep poverty while trying to support her family.
