Her favorite food is injera with lentils. She loves to watch movies and play with her friends. After finishing school, Amognesh would like to become a doctor.
Amognesh and her family are now living in Addis Ababa because they were displaced from their home due to the ongoing war in northern Ethiopia. She is currently living with her mom and sister, Serkalem, who is also in the Onesimus sponsorship program. Amognesh and her family lost her dad due to the war.
Amognesh is seeking sponsorship due to poverty. Her mom is not working since moving to Addis Ababa, and has no income to support her family or pay for Amognesh’s school fees. Sponsorship will help provide her basic needs such as food, medical supplies, and clothing, as well as pay her school fees.
